Pressing Instructions

Follow these steps for best results when applying your DTF transfer.

  1. Use a commercial heat press on a firm, even surface.
  2. Pre-press the garment for approximately 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  3. Position the transfer with the printed side facing the garment.
  4. Follow the temperature, pressure, peel, and time instructions supplied with your order.
  5. Peel according to the transfer instructions.
  6. Cover with parchment, butcher paper, or an approved finishing sheet.
  7. Repress for approximately 5–10 seconds.
  8. Allow the garment to cool before stretching, wearing, or washing.

Pressing settings vary by transfer, garment, fabric content, heat press, pressure accuracy, and production specifications. Test pressing is recommended before completing large production runs.

Pressing instructions may vary according to the transfer, garment, heat press, and production specifications. A commercial heat press is recommended. Household irons are not recommended.
